In the summer, locals as well as tourists practically live on the beaches. We sunbathe, sail and arrange cozy picnics with friends, play beach volleyball and enjoy life at its best. However, whatever season you decide to visit, the beaches are always worth exploring as they are inspiring and will certainly leave you energised – everyday, all year around.
With three of the country’s premier golf clubs nearby – Falsterbo Golf Club, Flommens Golf Club and Ljunghusens Golf Club – Skanör is an excellent destination for playing golf. You can book a golf package with us or visit the courses on site.
A short 10 minute drive from the hotel will get you to Fotevikens Museum. The museum offers visitors a unique insight into what life as a Viking in Skåne might have been like, with a reconstructed Viking town that has been rebuilt with a contemporary spirit. Every year thousands of vikings from all over the world visit and live in this area. It’s a historical and fun attraction for both young and old visitors!
For many, the name Falsterbo is associated with horses. This is perhaps not so surprising, as the international Horse competition Falsterbo Horse Show is hosted here every summer. It’s the year’s biggest event and attraction, which annually attracts tourists from all over Europe.
